3 Things to Think About During a Goal Setting Session

Life is what you make it! Use your goal setting sessions to focus your energies and achieve the life you really want. These three things will help you turn your dreams into reality.


  • What are my resources? You'll need to know what tools you have at your disposal before getting to work. Make a list of all the things you can use to make your dreams come true.

  • Is it realistic? While it's important to reach for the stars, it's just as important to realize that you'll need an oxygen tank in the upper atmosphere. Look at your goals from a logical point of view. Is this something that can really be done?

  • Is this really what I want? Sometimes the goals we pursue are more in line with the desires of other people than our own. Think about why you want to accomplish your goal. If you aren't doing it for yourself, you could be setting yourself up for major disappointments.
